We hand-develop all our sites and applications without the requirements of expensive, prohibitive licensing and proprietary software, and our solution will always be expandable and flexible. You'll never find a programmer here who uses point and click tools or one without extensive knowledge of how to apply something by hand. We always remind our programmers that they should be able to code with half their brain tied behind their back.

We have spent years developing and continually improving upon real-world Web applications built from open source PHP, XML and MySQL running on Linux/Apache - this is our home turf and we know it better than anyone. Day to day, we are deploying complex and scalable Websites and Web applications for clients around the country.

You're not a guinea pig! We custom build and use our own Web applications to run our own internal operations. Active Media Architects is committed to ongoing organizational improvement. We are proud to have recently evaluated our firm to be on Level 4 of the Capability Maturity Model, and are aspiring to achieve a rating of Level 5 within the next 12-18 months. Throughout the life of our organization we have ensured that our internal development and management processes are well characterized and understood. Our firm's practices are described within organizational standards, set procedures, pre-designed tools and software, and controlled development methods. We consistently establish, meet, and exceed process objectives in all of our work. All work is effectively controlled by management, and management continues to analyze performance on a quantitative basis. We can quickly adapt our internal processes and individual performance to meet a project's needs without sacrificing the quality of a project.

We have been in business since 1998 and are a privately funded, 100% debt-free corporation. From the very beginning, our plan has been slow and steady growth. Research and development is continuous and ongoing with a large portion of our budget slated for R & D year-to-year.
